The contents of this website are supervised by Jose Rossello, MD, PhD, MCHM specializing in Preventive Medicine and Public Health.

Jose's previous experience includes working at Hospital Universitario Marques de Valdecilla and Hospital Universitari de la Vall d'Hebron in faculty positions related to preventive medicine, epidemiology, and patient safety. At Hospital Universitari de la Vall d'Hebron, they served as the Head of Section for Medicine Preventive and Epidemiology and established the first Unit for Outcomes and Effectiveness Research in a hospital belonging to the Spanish National Health Care System.

Jose also worked at the Baylor Institute for Immunology Research (BIIR, Dallas, Texas) as an Assistant Investigator and later as a Research Associate III. Jose conducted independent research, collaborated with investigators, and integrated bioinformatics, epidemiology, and statistics to analyze complex disease-associated gene expression patterns in autoimmune diseases.

Jose has also been associated with Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona, where they served as an Associate Professor of Epidemiology and Demography and Preventive Medicine and Public Health, delivering lectures, tutoring students, and supervising their practical work.

Jose has an extensive education history. He obtained his Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree from Universitat de Barcelona (Spain) in 1981. Following this, Jose completed a Specialist in Preventive Medicine and Public Health residency program at Hospital Universitari de la Vall d'Hebron from 1982 to 1985. In 1994, he completed his Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Public Health at Universitat de Barcelona.

In order to further enhance their knowledge and skills in healthcare administration and management, Jose pursued a Master of Health Care Management and Health Services Organization degree at Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona, completing it in 2004.

Additionally, they obtained a certification in Pattern Discovery in Data Mining from Coursera Verified Certificates in March 2015.

Overall, Jose Rossello's professional and education journey showcase his dedication to both medical practice and healthcare management, combining his expertise in preventive medicine, public health, epidemiology, and health services administration.
